Residential Property:
Structural Surveys UK offer different levels of structural survey for residential property designed to suit the type, age and condition of the building in question. There are a number of different types of property survey on the market produced by different practitioners, but only a structural survey produced by a qualified structural/civil engineer (with the relevant professional indemnity cover) can assess and diagnose structural defects and recommend structural repair works. No other profession can produce a structural survey and often make recommendations for further survey reports to be carried out where theirs is lacking in detail and knowledge (for example timber decay, rot, damp, structural issues, which are all covered in our structural survey reports).
